through our website, Scintus.com (our 'Site'), or by
phone, you agree to the following:
Placing an order
Placing an order is simple.
Using our Site, simply click on the shopping cart icon(s)
next to your favorite images to add those images to
your shopping cart. The upper right hand corner of the
website will update real-time to reflect the total number
of items currently in your shopping cart. When you’re
ready to checkout, simply click on the shopping cart
icon in the upper right hand corner of the website or
select “My Shopping Cart” from the “My
Account” menu, and you will be taken to your Shopping
Cart Detail page to begin the checkout process.
Upon completing the checkout
process, you will be shown an Order Confirmation page;
this order confirmation will also be emailed to you.
All sales are subject to availability, current pricing,
and credit card approval. Your order will not be finalized
until availability and current pricing has been confirmed
and payment processed in full. In the event shipping
details still need to be determined, a Scintus representative
will follow-up with you to confirm precise shipping
costs before finalizing your order. An invoice will
be mailed with your prints.
If you have any trouble ordering
online, we would be more than happy to take your order
by phone. All custom size orders must be placed by phone.
If, for whatever reason, we are unable to accept or
fulfill your order, we will contact you by phone or
email. In the event your credit card has already been
charged, the full amount charged will be credited to
your card.
By placing an order through
our Site or by phone, you agree to our Site's general
usage Terms
and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms
and conditions, please do not place an order.
Pricing and Availability
All prices are shown in U.S.
Dollars. Customers must pay for products and services
in U.S. Dollars. Pricing and availability are subject
to change at any time without notice.
The total cost of your order
will include the price of your print(s), plus shipping
and handling, plus sales tax (for orders shipped within
the state of Massachusetts).
Payment Options
We currently accept payment
by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express
credit cards. You must be 18 years of age or older to
place an order.
Delivery Time
Average delivery time is 4 to
6 weeks. All prints are produced to order and are produced
to an exacting standard that necessitates the extended
turnaround. Think of it like ordering a custom piece
of furniture. It takes time, but the end result is always
more than worth the wait.
Shipping
All prints are shipped via FedEx
and include insurance. For items shipped within the
U.S., shipping will be calculated during the checkout
process. Larger orders, international orders, and orders
containing original flatworks will display a shipping
value of “TBD” or “To Be Determined”.
Under such circumstances, once your order has been submitted,
a Scintus representative will follow-up with you to
confirm precise shipping costs before finalizing your
order. If, for whatever reason, you have reason to be
concerned about the status of your delivery, please
contact
us.
Return Policy
In the unlikely event your prints
arrive damaged, contact us immediately. A Scintus representative
will walk you through returning the damaged print(s),
obtaining a full refund, and/or exchanging your print(s).
Quality
Guarantee
If you are at all unhappy with
the quality of your print, contact us immediately. The
quality of our prints is something in which we take
great pride, and we’re not happy if you’re
not happy. A Scintus representative will walk you through
returning the print(s), obtaining a full refund, and/or
exchanging the print(s). Because we do not accept general
returns for exchange or refund (see below), this guarantee
is offered on an honor system basis.
**The above exceptions notwithstanding,
because all prints are produced to order, we do not
accept general returns for exchange or refund. As such,
please take extra care in selecting the image(s) and
size(s) for your intended display space.**
Any and all return requests
must be made within 21 days of the date on which your
prints were delivered. All returns must be shipped via
FedEx or UPS, must be returned in their original packaging,
must be in their original condition, must include their
original invoice, and must apply to a specific Return
Authorization #.
Ownership
By purchasing artwork through
Scintus, you only acquire rights of ownership to the
physical works themselves. You do not acquire any right,
title, or interest in or to any copyright, reproduction
rights, or other intellectual property rights subsisting
in the work itself, which rights are exclusively reserved
by the owner of the underlying copyright or other intellectual
property rights.
